Aalto- und Grillo-Theater
The Aalto Theatre has been the opera house of the city of Essen since 1988 and is located in the north-eastern part of the Essen Stadtgarten in the Südviertel district. The Grillo Theatre has been the main venue of the theatre ensemble in Essen since 1988. Both theatres were refurbished one after the other and were to be equipped with comparable mixing consoles, audio and sound technology.
