WHAT DOES A STAGE MANAGER DO?

The stage manager is the link between the director and the technical trades of a theatre such as stage technology, lighting, sound department, costume, make-up and props. They are also responsible for the smooth running of a performance and coordinate and control all artistic and technical processes of individual theatre productions. Their workplace is mainly at the heart of the venue - the stage manager's desk. Today, modern theatre and opera performances are no longer conceivable without a flexible, versatile and technically sophisticated stage management desk.

The number of monitors and console width vary according to your requirements. At the top, the console unit offers a mounting system with movable arms for video monitors or tablets.

Ergonomic

Good ergonomics help prevent fatigue. Motorised height adjustment enables the optimum height to be set for seated or standing operation. Mobile desks are equipped with lockable castors.

Practicality

Side rails provide for hanging headsets and headphones or a drinks holder. The keyboard, mouse, scripts and scores etc. can be stored in the drawers.
