Manfred Nowak has been appointed Managing Director of SALZBRENNER media. He joined the management team at the end of January 2020, alongside Wolfgang and Thomas Salzbrenner.

Hightecday 2015
After the huge success in the previous year, our in-house exhibition, the "HighTecDay", takes place for the second time in Buttenheim. In addition to SALZBRENNER media's own products, co-exhibitors such as Sennheiser, Crestron, L'Acoustics and Christie present their product portfolios.
Managing Directors appointed ambassadors for Bamberg
With their appointment as ambassadors for Bamberg, Wolfgang and Thomas Salzbrenner are now among a total of 76 regional personalities from business, science, sports and culture who promote the Bamberg economic region through their national and international contacts.
Hightecday Premiere
For the first time, the company headquarters in Buttenheim hosted the HighTecDay, a mixture of an in-house exhibition and workshops with series of lectures, organized in cooperation with Sennheiser. The invitation was accepted by around 70 people from Germany, Austria and Switzerland who are active in the areas of stage, show, audio or communication.

Holy Mosque Mecca
In 2012, we were commissioned with our first deliveries to Mecca in Saudi Arabia. One of the largest audio networks in the world is to be created at the pilgrimage site, as several million Muslims visit the place of prayer every year.
Stage System for Sydney Opera House
The Sydney Opera House is the landmark of the Australian city of Sydney. We supplied a comprehensive stage management system for a total of 5 stages, to the other side of the world.
Bolschoi-Theatre Moscow
The major project in the Russian capital Moscow took 6 years to complete. In 2010, the time had finally come: The Bolshoi Theatre Moscow was equipped with the latest audio, video and stage management technology, for which we were commissioned with the planning and part of the execution.

With PANTURA, our in-house developed, sophisticated paging and call system is launched on the market.
New Subsidiary in Austria
The Mediagroup expands further into other European countries. The Vienna office opened with Paul Prager as branch manager.
New Headquarters
Relocation from Hallstadt to Buttenheim. The new company headquarters is built on the 27,000m² site - a modern, three-story new building with a floor space of 6,500m². In addition to more office space and warehouses, the location also offers space for plant construction, including its own OB van hall, so that several large projects can be undertaken in parallel. A meeting room laid out over two floors with interpreting booths and a media wall provides enough space for presentations and training sessions.
Federal Chancellery Berlin
We win another prestigious major project in the capital: among other things our C.A.S Mix was installed in the Federal Chancellery.
New Management
Wolfgang and Thomas Salzbrenner join their father in the management.
C.A.S. 300 in the Deutsche Oper Berlin
The major project at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and our newly developed C.A.S. 300 marks the beginning of digital stage management technology.

Foundation of STAGETEC (development company for professional Audio Technology)
We step away from being an owner-managed individual company to the MEDIAGROUP. A team of developers together with the parent company founds an independent company for the development of digital routers and professional mixing console technology.
Branch Office Chemnitz
Originally founded to optimize operational readiness in the context of the renovation of the Chemnitz Opera House, the Saxony branch has developed into a branch of SALZBRENNER media GmbH that now operates nationwide, focusing on emergency call systems, fire and other alarm systems.
Wolfgang Salzbrenner joins the Team
Wolfgang Salzbrenner, the next son of founder Friedrich Salzbrenner joins the company.
Thomas Salzbrenner joins the Company
At the age of 17, Thomas Salzbrenner joins his father's company and starts an apprenticeship as a radio and television technician. A few years later, he successfully completed his master craftsman's examination.
ICC Berlin
In 1980, we received a major order for the International Congress Centrum Berlin (ICC Berlin) - one of the world's largest convention centres.
First Theatre project in Ingolstadt
In the Ingolstadt Theatre we complete our first project in a theatre and celebrate the “premiere” of a new market area.
Founding of the Company
On April 1, 1963, Friedrich Salzbrenner (on the right in the picture) founded a workshop in Hallstadt for the repair and maintenance of broadcast systems. After the successful installation of the first sound systems and sales of high-quality stage and recording studio technology, the company develops into one of the leading system houses.
