In this page you control the recording. On the main screen you can see a preview of all camera inputs with many control options, e.g. start and stop recording, adjust A/V delay, adjust volume for output, recording level, headphones, and much more such as:
- Display up to three live images including time code and level per channel
- The third output can display the first two image sources as picture in picture (PIP)
- One-touch recording start and stop of the video sources individually or in parallel
STAGECAST also offers you the options of trimming, separating or combining your recordings from a clearly arranged folder structure (Project, Session, Clip).
The Scheduler records any number of video clips automatically and manages them. You can intervene manually at any time and postpone, pause, start immediately or cancel the recording. This function allows full automation: You select the project folder, enter the start time and duration of the recording, select the required cameras, then STAGECAST will do the recording for you.
The Projects section enables you to manage projects and sessions by assigning the recordings to your folder structure. Projects and sessions are synchronised with the cloud and/or the media server. Clips recorded previously can be played back and external recordings and archive material can be integrated into the folder structure.
The Publish section is responsible for publishing the recordings to the cloud offered by the manufacturer or the local media server. Upload to any video archive or editing system is also possible. The quality of the recordings can be user defined (< 35 Mbps). User access rights administration is also managed here - this allows you to differentiate who has access to which recordings and also to change access rights later on.
